MECH KEY TEST provides free, browser-based diagnostic tools for testing keyboards, mice, webcams, microphones, speakers, and related hardware. All tools are provided “as is” for informational and diagnostic purposes.
2. No Warranty
While we aim for accuracy, test results (including but not limited to CPS scores, polling rate readings, rollover detection, and click-accuracy measurements) are provided for general informational purposes only and should not be treated as a certified or professional hardware diagnostic. We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any test result.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its underlying systems
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the site in a way that places excessive load on our servers
- Misrepresent test results from this site as an official or certified manufacturer diagnostic
4. Intellectual Property
All content on MECH KEY TEST, including text, graphics, logos, and the design of the tools themselves, is owned by MECH KEY TEST or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law, unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.

6. Camera & Microphone Access
Certain tools (Webcam Test, Microphone Test) request access to your device’s camera or microphone. This access is used solely to display a local preview, waveform, or meter, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may deny these permissions at any time; doing so will simply prevent the relevant tool from functioning.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MECH KEY TEST and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its tools — including any decision made (such as replacing or not replacing hardware) based on test results.
